Our trip to Dominican Republic allowed us to visit an elementary school named Centro Educat Vo Bomba De Yaiba in a rural part of the country in early 2022. Several hundred children were tested for vision problems, many for the first time, and a number of students were found to need eyeglasses to improve their vision. New eyeglasses were made and sent to the school to be distributed to the students.
